This is a definitive reissue of The Rack, debut album of Dutch death metal pioneers ASPHYX, originally released in 1991.
The Rack captures the band's distinctive sound: heavy, doom-influenced passages with direct and uncompromising aggression. Tracks such as "The Rack", "Last One On Earth", and "Vermin" illustrate ASPHYX's approach at the time, driven by Martin Van Drunen's recognizable vocal performance!
More than three decades after its initial release, The Rack continues to stand as an essential recording within ASPHYX's discography and the broader death metal catalog, coming here with a revamped artwork!
