"Masakr” was released after a ten year hiatus but has all the Maniac Butcher trademarks. Well-known barbaric sound and chainsaw riffs from the Kings of Czech black metal are all there on this 7th full length album. It allows some room for thrash metal riffs, as was already the case on previous albums “Invaze” and “Epitaph”. It also has the most monstrous and professional sound from their albums – all the while keeping the raw black metal butchery at full attack. This may be the bands most overlooked album but this is classic Maniac Butcher and is considered to be of equal quality as all other albums.
