Hailing from the capital of Ukrainian Black Metal, Kharkiv-based one-man band Sarnath Eternal almost year ago released their debut album The bitter fate of rootless. Band combining classic sound of Arckanum with mesmerizing old doomish vibe, both covering with Lovecraftian horror and mysticism.
The album was inspired by Howard Lovecraft’s short story called “The Quest of Iranon”. Unlike the Old Gods-related stories, it presents a more depressive and melancholic side of HPL providing such themes as a failed creative fulfillment, losing yourself in the modern soulless world, and nostalgia for the places and times that have never been.
