Grobbing Thristle is close to Coil's vision of "lunar music". It's the same type of psychoactive spells, slowly finding and tasting what hidden beyond the courtain of everyday time. The project idea came from Radek Dziubek, former co-creator of Blimp (grow up from post-punk scene and minimal rock Polish precoursors of postrock fusions). From them they learned how to describe the fragile nature of world, by dosing the intense of sonic signal. Grobbing Thristle made one rare thing - finding energy between what "live" and "mechanic", emotional and dehumanized, spontanous and constructed, created their own musical idiom. What more important - even though their experimental ambitions, the recordings hipnotyze with dense, mysterious, and often momochromatic aura. Dark and disturbingly beautiful album.
